This track incorporates some recordings I made of Paul back in the late 1990s in preparation for a perfomance of Edwin Roxburgh's "At the Still Point of the Turning World" - an incredible work from 1979 for oboe and electronics that was designed to use the same 6 tape loop, ring modulation and filter technology developed by Stockhausen for "Solo" in 1965.
Working with Paul, Edwin and Lawrence Casserley (former head of the RCM Studios, percussionist and Max programmer extraordinaire) along with an old NeXTcube was a great privilege, taught me an incredible amount, and set me on this path...
